Rugby is not a sport for the gangly types or for anyone who has a fear of injury or anyone who has a fear of physical contact in general. It’s rough, it’s brutal and it takes no prisoners. A truly English sport – though attested to the Greeks, like most things tend to be – Rugby is a game for the strong, the brutish, the powerful. Being able to kick a ball over a goal  from a fair distance also helps.

You might have guessed that Rugby requires certain items purely built for protection. You want to protect your deliciate, so when you have a 6 foot 3 inch burly rugby player slamming into your chest at a hefty speed, you’ll be glad you decided to put that mouth guard in, even if you get a cracked rib or two. Bones can repair themselves, but teeth can't grow back.
