Here we will show you how to provide your vehicle inventory file in the required format, together with some advice on increasing the likelihood of your vehicles being found when people look on search engines like Google and Yahoo!.
Although there are 25 fields within this guide, only 9 are required (
highlighted in red). The rest are recommended but optional.
Some general points:
• Remove all JavaScript coding if copying data from your website
• Ensure that you spell check your data
• Basic HTML code may be included in the description text
• Do not exceed the maximum field lengths
• Ensure the header row is present and is mapped as per the field names below
• When saving your completed inventory file, ensure to ‘Save As’ either .CSV or .TXT
