Rare breed Chocolate Orpington chickens laying chocolate flavoured eggs

Lichfield based rare chicken breeder Amy Larkins thinks she might have hit on a potential chocolate money spinner. Amy says that some people are convinced that the eggs laid by their Chocolate Orpington chickens do in fact taste of chocolate.

Mrs. Larkins said: “We had started advertising our Chocolate Orpington chickens on adflyer.com and we sold lots of them very quickly. After a few weeks we began to hear that some customers were noticing a distinct cocoa flavour in the egg yolks. I didn’t believe it myself at first, but it does appear that at certain times of the year and especially in early April, the eggs develop a chocolate taste.”

The Chocolate Orpington is a very rare breed derived from the Black Orpington but they are becoming ever more popular as people look for ways to save money and eat better food.

Mrs Larkins added: “Our Chocolate Orpington sales have gone through the roof over the last few months and we’ve got people calling us every day wanting to get their hands on these rather special chickens.”

The Larkins are now planning to expand their business to take advantage of this chocolate “orpingtunity”.

The adflyer shop window goes live

After rapid growth since starting up in 2009, the adflyer team have just launched the latest version of adflyer.com.

adflyer's aim is to make buying and selling online as easy as possible, using the latest technology to develop a smarter way of trading.

adflyer M.D. Sam Naylor outlined a common issue for sellers: "Business owners often find it difficult to get their products noticed online. As well as the expense, attracting customers can take up a lot of time. One of our strengths is making sure that search engines find adflyer.com, which makes life much easier for our sellers. So putting your products on adflyer gives your company much greater visibility and is the ideal way to generate additional sales online."

On the latest version of adflyer.com every seller now has their own impressive shop window to display all their products. Uploading items is simple too: products and feedback can be copied across from eBay or imported from an existing inventory file. The shop window is easy to personalise and there are some useful editing tools, all of which make adflyer the ideal trading site for both businesses and people who already trade online.

The new adflyer site is also great for buyers: clear design allows fast navigation and because adflyer only offers tangible products for sale (no services or personal ads), finding the right items is very easy.

Giving sellers an alternative and smarter way to increase their sales, as well as providing buyers with great trading experience, it's not surprising that adflyer is one of the fastest growing marketplace websites around.

adflyer launch easy upload facility for small businesses & establised online traders

The adflyer easy upload facility makes life much simpler for online traders whether they have 20 products or 20,000. Commenting on this, adflyer M.D. Sam Naylor said: ‘We noticed that online traders were so keen to get their items onto adflyer that they had started uploading products individually. This was neither time nor cost effective as some traders had several thousand products for sale. From now on , getting your products onto adflyer will only take a few minutes".

As experts in online trading, adflyer know how difficult it can be for independent retailers to establish themselves online and reach the thousands of potential buyers out there. adflyer have therefore made the most of their expertise in search engine optimisation and the latest internet technology to make products on their site stand out in online searches.

Sam Naylor also realises that cost is an important consideration for retailers in these difficult economic times, adding: ‘We know that an online market place has to be extremely robust and simple to use, but we also want to charge lower fees than the competittion. At present it's free for anyone to upload their stock to adflyer"

Joining adflyer is simply the best way to get your products among all the online traders.

adflyer really is different: it is the place where smarter people buy & sell.

So just how is adflyer smarter?
With 3,000 product categories split down into lots of helpful sub-groups, the adflyer website is incredibly easy to use.
