An infestation with ichthyopathogenic worms and flukes causes big problems for many aquarists and pond keepers. Especially skin and gill flukes, which are known not only among discus keepers, cause severe damage in the fish organism that may cause heavy losses. sera med Professional Tremazol® contains the very effective Praziquantel, which is also successfully applied against helminthoses in human and veterinary medicine.
The patented, highly effective agent dissolving complex ensures even distribution of the otherwise poorly soluble substance in water, making the active agent get to the pathogen very quickly. The effect spectrum of Tremazol® extends over the already mentioned gill (Dactylogyrus sp.) and skin (Gyrodactylus sp.) flukes, but tapeworms (e.g. Bothriocephalus sp.) are also covered. This treatment is very effective and very well tolerated.
