Heavy duty small cast iron gratin dish ideal for baking a variety of sweet and savoury dishes, including apple crumble, potatoes dauphinoise and lasagne, in addition to serving vegetables and potatoes directly at the table. Manufactured from molten cast iron the dish is extremely durable and gives an even and efficient distribution of heat, cooking the food evenly and relatively quickly once warmed. With wide side handles, the dish is also easy to handle. Coated with a hygienic and impermeable quality vitreous enamel, with a red exterior and contrasting cream interior, the dish is safe to use in the oven, under the grill, on all hobs including electric, gas, ceramic, halogen and induction, and for solid fuel range cookers and cooker tops (including Aga® and Rayburn®).
