Our Save My Hair Serum i also great for irritated skin. It contains organic sapote which is a semi solid oil that is cold pressed from the black seeds of the Pouteria sapota tree. It has a faint sweet almond scent and is rich in Vitamins A, C, potassium, iron, calcium and plant proteins.
Organic Sapote Oil is highly moisturising to both the skin and hair and is ideal for dry skin types. It sinks in quickly without leaving a greasy residue.

Researchers at the Purdue University in Indiana discovered that a little sapote applied to the scalp each morning will moisturize the skin on your head whilst nourishing each strand of hair from root to tip so that it looks gorgeous and shiny, leaving hair that is easy to manage with more bounce. At the University of California in Los Angeles researchers discovered that the oil is effective in stopping hair fall caused by seborrheic dermatitis.
Your hair isn't the only area to benefit from this oil - if you suffer from excessively dry skin due to prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions or if synthetic laden cosmetics (hair dressers for example or people working with chemicals using their bare hands) then one drop of sapote oil will transform your skin from cracked and irritated to smooth and moisturized.
Note: The oil may solidfiy in cooler temperatures in which case simply place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes to return the oil to its liquid state.
