Skinmedica Rejuvenative Toner Description:

SkinMedica Rejuvenative Toner 6 oz For normal to dry skin This refreshing; non-drying toner gently exfoliates dead skin cells and refines pores with mildly exfoliating alpha-hydroxy acids. Benefits: • Removes excess dirt; oil and impurities • Gently refines skin and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores • Restores protective pH balance Key Ingredients: Lactic Acid; Glycolic Acid; Citric Acid; and Malic Acid - Each is a natural; alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bilberry extract; sugar cane extract; sugar maple extract; and citrus extracts that provides mild exfoliation to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve skin texture. Helps keep surface cells soft and pliable. Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract - A rich; natural source of salicylic acid; a beta-hydroxy acid. Has mild antiseptic and keratolytic properties. Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract - Reduces redness and suppresses skin inflammation and irritation while providing powerful antioxidant properties that help protect cells from free radical damage initiated by environmental factors. Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract - Traditionally used in topical treatments of burns; sunburns; skin irritations; insect bites and bruises. It is credited with anti-inflammatory and wound healing abilities. Mildly astringent; it helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. Directions: Apply twice daily. Moisten cotton ball and gently smooth over face after cleansing and before treatment products. As with any skin care product; avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs; rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Precaution: Products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) may cause initial flaking; tingling and irriation to the skin. For some this may be part of the normal resurfacing process. This improves as the skin ‘gets used’ to the treatment. AHA products may be introduced with less frequent use; and application can be increased as the skin acclimates. At first start by gradually introducing one AHA product at a time into your skincare regime. Also some breakouts may occur initially; due to purging of the follicles. Discontinue use if you have severe redness; itching; burning; rash; swelling or blistering. Apply a sunscreen daily when using products that contain Alpha Hydroxy acids (AHAs).
