We do not display sellers' private telephone number within ads. Instead we allocate each advertiser with a privacy number. Privacy numbers help to keep adflyer sellers' personal details hidden from other users of the site. This is done to prevent people from abusing the information displayed on the site. It also helps to ensure that all calls made are for no other reason than contacting advertisers regarding adverts.
To help protect the seller's privacy, adflyer will route calls to the personal phone number the seller provided. Once the advert expires, so does the privacy number. Our privacy numbers start with 0701 or 0705 and are displayed on all advert pages.
adflyer allow users to buy and sell for free and in order to maintain the website we do make a small amount from calls. There is no connection charge and all calls are charged on a per second basis at 35p per minute from a BT Landline, calls from other networks may cost considerably more.
